......the latest reincarnation of the old Lycoming fuel injector lines inspection AD.

Can't we just get over it? Can't we all just Get Along? Can't we just agree to;
a) Require mandatory replacement of ALL LYCOMING FUEL INJECTION LINES by the guys who make TCM fuel injection lines? (NOT subject to an AD)
b) Decide that NO fuel injector lines are immune from cracks and spraying fuel with resulting FIRE HAZARD, and force the same same inspection requirements on TCM owners?

Pardon me, people, but this is JUST PLAIN STUPIDITY and bureaucratic idiocy. This AD has been in effect since the nineteen nineties, if memory serves me, and nothing has been done to correct the situation! WHY NOT? Your opinions?
Not that I mind the added income from the inspections each year, it's just that I have a problem with stupidity for stupidity's sake.
