I got to see one of his at reno years ago. It was a crash investigation review. I think he was trying to say the buffet some money, it was a cheery pie sort of presentation.

I met Bill O'Brien in 1996 at a symposium in Phoenix AZ and enjoyed every minute of his lecture; he talked about unapproved parts and how they filter into the supply system. So fresh to see an FAA representative passionate about the aviation maintenance industry. Sorry for the loss of your friend Bubba, he was a great man. As a matter of fact, I subscribed to ATM in 1996 just to read his articles, many of which I cut out and have in my tool box. I'm new to the ATM web site, so I write this with caution but would it not be cool if ATM had a section dedicated to Bill?

Out here its a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer....Catergorised in Mechanical & Avionics stream seperately.
